Our volleyball girls had their second game Saturday Sept.3. The girls went on a 2 hour bus ride to McPherson to play Central Christian College. The girls left the college 10:30 a.m. with a winning mentality. Little was known about the team they were playing and because of that, they prepared very hard all week.

“We didn’t know much about Central Christian, we just prepared our game and did our best to win,” said Taylor Kinnamon, business administration senior.

The game ended with a victory for the Builders. They won 3-0. The team has a new offense. “I love it,” said Kindell Copeland, business administration senior.

The first set finished 25-14 with the Builders winning 1 set to none. The second set finished 25-13 making it 2-0 and the last set ended in a 25-10 final victory for the Builders. This makes the second victory for the volleyball girls after defeating Barclay College Aug. 30.

After the game, head coach Donnie Wallace said, “We are trying to be one of the best teams in the conference.”

The team had a new offense and senior in business administration, Kindell Copeland said, “I love it,” referring to the new teams offense.
