Builder track and field traveled to Pittsburgh State University April 16 to compete in the Eighth Annual David Suenram Gorilla Classic.

On the menโ€™s side, Seth Topham, biochemistry junior, was the only Builder to grab a top-five finish. He finished 5th in the 110 Meter Hurdle race with a time of 15.17.

The women were able to pull a few more top finishes. Bailey Collier, athletic training junior, finished second in High Jump with a jump of 1.74m.

Taylor Needham, biochemistry sophomore, also grabbed a second-place finish in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.98. The womenโ€™s 4X400 team also finished the day with a fifth place finish.

Next, the track and field team will travel to Hillsboro April 23 to compete in the Tabor Invitational.
