Softball team gets ready to face Kansas Wesleyan

On April 28 conference play came to an end for Lady Builder softball team. The day began with cool weather mixed with a slight breeze. It seemed to be a great day for softball, but it never swung in the Builders favor. Kansas Wesleyan swept the double-header, 1-0 and 5-3. The loss to Kansas Wesleyan moves the Lady Builder record to 23-17 overall and 9-9 in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

As conference play ended the KCAC postseason tournament bracket was released. Tournament play will began Wednesday, May 2 at Fun Valley Softball Complex in Hutchinson, Kan. The tournament play will consist of an eight team double elimination, preceded by two play-in games.

The Lady Builders will face-off against Kansas Wesleyan on May 2 at 2:00p.m. Winner of this game will face off against the winner of Bethany vs. Sterling/Saint Mary game.
