Proposing in public creates comfortable atmosphere

A few weeks ago, I told one of my best friends, who was preparing to propose to his now fiancée, that I would do something crazy. I told him I would run around the two of them after she said, “Yes” with sparklers in my hands and cheer gleefully for their new companionship. Why would I do something like that, you ask?
