Senior night ends in victory

The Lady Builder’s volleyball team defeated Bethany on Oct. 26th. The ladies won all of the first three matches and had a dominate presence. Now the overall record is 19-11, and 5-5 in conference. So far the team is having a successful season so far.

Senior night was also occurring. The team only had one senior, Catabrean Baumann. Baumann is a senior majoring in elementary education. Last night was her very last game played at SC. She said, “It was amazing to be on the court at home for one last time and it was a great win.”

Charity Hall is a freshman majoring in Biology. Hall said “She is a very good leader and roll model on and off the court. We are dependent on her for sure; we wouldn’t fall apart without her but she plays a huge role on the team. She contributes all she can to us.”

“It was an emotional day. It’s a bitter sweet to be almost done with my volleyball career but I’m having a great career ahead of me in the classroom. This program has been such a blessing,” said Baumann
