Women’s soccer opens strong

The women’s soccer team faced off with Randall on Aug. 22, starting their season off with a win.

The Builders defeated Randall 3-1, scoring two of their points in the first half. Alissa Tapp, senior forward, Cecilia Alvarez, senior midfield, and Sabrina Arzate, sophomore forward, all took home a goal in the first game of the preseason.

Southwestern will head to Tyler, Texas, to play Texas College on Sept. 1.
