Men’s soccer begins the year with an 8-0 victory

The Builders powered through wet conditions, ending up on top.

Men’s soccer didn’t back down against Randall University in the preseason opener on Aug. 22, leaving the field with an 8-0 victory.

Tre Thomas, senior forward, started the night off strong with two goals in the first 25 minutes of the game. Thomas was followed by Darrel Sitton, junior defender, Ram Keller, freshman forward, AJ Gross, freshman midfielder, Rosendo Martinez, sophomore midfielder, Lonnie Madory, freshman midfielder, and Tanner Rodriguez, sophomore defender, each with one goal.

Southwestern will play Manhattan Christian at 5 p.m. on Aug. 29 in Jantz Stadium.
