The Builder Volleyball Team hosted both Bethel College and Manhattan Christian University on August 21, starting the season off with a win and a loss.

Game one ended after just three sets, the Builders winning all three (25-13, 25-12, and 25-13).

The second game extended to four sets, and the Builders fell just short of a victory (25-19, 22-25, 23-25, and 22-25).

Excitement is building as the Builder volleyball season has begun. Catabrean Baumann, senior setter, is excited to see where her senior season takes the team. “I love the girls I get to play with,” Baumann said. “We have a lot of incomers who will make a splash for SC.”

The team will continue their pre-season games with a tournament August 24 and 25 in Hutchinson.
