Builder tennis celebrates senior day with conference championship

The men’s and women’s tennis teams celebrated their senior day before their match against Kansas Wesleyan at T.H. Vaughan Tennis Complex. The women’s team won a share of their first KCAC title since 1991, winning all three of their doubles matches against the Coyotes. With a conference championship, the women have stamped their ticket to the Women’s Tennis National Championships in Mobile, Alabama. The national tournament will take place from May 15th-19th at the Mobile Tennis Center.

Brian Vancuren along with his parents Chris and Julie Vancuren, and grandparents Chip and Diana Vancuren. He will graduate with a Bachelor's in Accounting and Business Administration.
Abbi Groff escorted by her parent Angela Jones and Jeff Groff. She will get her Bachelor's in History with a minor in political science and business administration, and begin law school at Emory University next fall.
Jerlecia Thompson accompanied by her parents Leshia and Jerry Thompson. She will graduate with her degree in Psychology witha minor in Business, and will go to Oklahoma State for the specialist graduate program in school psychology.
Anna Mankoski with parents Edward and Michelle Mankoski. She will graduate with a Psychology degree and a minor in Business Administration and criminal justice, and will pursue a Master's Degree in Human Resources at Colorado State.
Hernan Hatem, assistant coach, with Jason Speegle, head coach. He will graduate with his Master's in Business Administration.
The tennis team cheered on the four seniors and Hernan Hatem during their senior day festivities.
