Intramural teams display basketball skills

The 2018 intramural basketball championship tournament was held in Stewart Field House Sunday evening. Starting at 6 p.m., four teams and their fans gathered in the field house to play for the title of champion.

To begin the tournament, the Blue Team played the Avengers. The Blue Team won the game 78-51. At the conclusion of that game, TYB played Leadership. TYB beat Leadership with a score of 53-46 to continue into the final round.

Although the final round between TYB and the Blue Team was close in the beginning, the Blue Team picked up speed and had a lead at the half of 42-21. The final score of the game was 74-56 Blue Team, earning them the champion role.
