The Lady Builders fought a tough, emotional game this afternoon with a final score being a 0-0 draw after double overtime.
The Moundbuilder effort was impressive throughout the contest as they attacked the ball with aggression.
Senior goalkeeper Olyvia Bish competed in impressive fashion; blocking and catching four shots on goal, which ultimately saved the team on multiple occasions.
Olyvia also displayed her versatility by helping out at other positions on the field. She then stated that she felt like she didn’t reach her full potential offensively.
“The girls played well, but fell short of scoring the ball,” said head coach Joe Wood. “Some of the techniques that we will work on for next game is scoring the ball and making better passes.”
The Lady Builders look to break through in a pivotal conference matchup with McPherson at home on Wednesday Oct. 18 at 5:30 p.m.
