SGA announces new representatives

At 8:09 p.m. Sept. 26 in the Pound Lounge, SGAs’ second meeting of this year was called to order by Vice President Castor. Secretary Milch started off with the roll call of senators and representatives of the organizations present.

New senators were introduced and inducted into SGA:

· At Large – Josh Hellemeier, Marcus Richard

· Computer Science/Communication – Emily Berry

· Business – Karen Aros

· Performing Arts – Scarlet Green, Ryan Pangracs

Treasurer Jewett went over and asked for senators and representatives to vote for approval of organizations asking for more money over the budget cost of $650. Ed Builders asked for $1,125 over budget and was approved. Film Club asked for $819 over budget for movie screenings on campus and filming equipment and was approved. Tone Builders was approved for $1,050. Some of the money the Tone Builders get will be used for help improve the student lounge. Gaming Club was approved for $800 over budget to improve their club with new TVs, gaming consoles, and board games. InterAct asked for $305 over budget for culture awareness week and was approved. Pi Gamma Mu was approved for $350 over budget. Sigma Tau Delta was granted with $650 over budget.

SGAs’ next meeting is a town hall and will be held at 8 p.m. on Oct.10 in Mossman 101.
