As part of Moundbuilder Victim Prevention Month, Bystander Bingo was held in the cafeteria Sunday evening.
Snacks and drinks were provided as Moundbuilders competed against each other, and winners had an option to take home chips, candy, bread, cereals, back scratchers, cleaning supplies and other prizes. The silence of the cafeteria while numbers were called proved the intensity of the game.
Bystander education videos were presented at the event, and the campus organization It’s On Us discussed the importance of campus safety.
“Overall, I had lots of fun talking and laughing with my friends when I was trying to disregard the fact that I wasn’t winning anything, game after game,” said Drake Foster, education freshman. “But, I will next time.”
