Men’s basketball falls to the Swedes

The men’s basketball team lost their first KCAC home game of the season on Tuesday night against the Bethany Swedes.

The leading scorer was Cameron Hunt, sophomore guard, with 24 points. Hunt also had 12 of the 45 rebounds. DJ Wallace, junior forward, followed with 17 points, Myron Fisher, junior guard, had 11 points, and Jason Allen, junior guard, had 10 points.

Bethany started the game in the lead but the teams went back and forth throughout the game until the Builders eventually fell to the Swedes 76-81.

The men’s record currently sits at 8-2 in their season and 1-2 in KCAC play.

Next, the Builders will take on Kansas Wesleyan at 8 p.m. on Dec. 1 in Salina.
