After their first win last week, Southwestern College Builder Football took yet another loss this week against Ottawa University 48-3.

“The Men were outplayed from the start,” said Solomon Garret, freshman linebacker. From the the first play of the game Hunter Sconce, sophomore running back, fumbled the ball early allowing Ottawa to get out to an early lead.

“After that the guys just never seemed to recover,” said Hale Henry, freshman wide receiver. The landslide continued.

This brings Builder Football to a 1-8 record on the season as the team searches for answers and signs on how to change things around.

Next week they’ll be in Leavenworth, Kansas, up against Saint Mary University on Saturday, November 5, hoping to break the losing trend they are on.
