Men’s soccer struggles against Kansas Wesleyan

The men’s soccer team added another loss to their 1-11-1 record on Wednesday night, losing to Kansas Wesleyan 0-3.

The Coyotes were only able to score one goal in the first half, almost halfway through at 17 minutes. They scored their other two goals in the second half, one 55 minutes inĀ and one to close out the game at 74 minutes.

The Builders took 5 shots to the Coyotes’ 21.

Tre Thomas, sophomore defender, took two of the five shots. Fernando Salazar, freshman midfielder, Ivan Canales, freshman defender, and Armando Tellez each had one shot.

Parker O’Quinn, freshman goalkeeper, made eight save throughout the game.

The men will play Sterling College next. The game will start at 1pm on Oct. 29 in Sterling.
