Kansas Wesleyan triumphs over Builder Football

The Moudbuilder Football team loaded the buses and headed to Salina to take on the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes only to return home defeated by a 63-13 loss.

Kansas Wesleyan scored on the opening play and continued to play determined. The Builders threw two interceptions and fumbled four times making a come back difficult.

  • Christian Gordon, freshman quarterback, threw for 93 passing yards and completed seven of 16 pass attempts.
  • Marquis Hodge, junior defensive back, was credited with 12 tackles-10 of those being solo.
  • Cole Williams, freshman receiver, racked up a total of 52 yards making him the leading receiver for the game.

Next, the Builders will play their first home game of the season against Friends. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 pm on Saturday, Oct. 1 at Jantz Stadium.
