Builder football can not hold off Warriors

Builder football ended their season with a 52-0 loss against Sterling College. With just 97 total offensive yards against the Warriors’ 444 yards and Sterling’s first touchdown coming at the end of the first quarter, the Builders lost their chance of scoring the fourth and final win of the 2015-2016 season.

The Warriors opened the game with a 37-yard run gaining the 7-0 lead going into the second quarter. By halftime, the Warriors were up 21-0.

The third quarter saw two more touchdowns, one with a 68-yard run, to bring the score to 42-0. Yet another touchdown and a 46-yard field goal by the Warriors ended the game with a score of 52-0.

Southwestern ran 97 yards in 49 plays, tallied only three first downs, had five turnovers, and lost each of their three fumbles.

The Builders ended the season with a 3-8 record in the season and 3-6 in KCAC play.
