Tensions were running high as the men’s soccer team looked to add another win to their season as it comes close to the end. The Builders lost 0-1 to the McPherson Bulldogs but put on a great show. The game was energetic and fast paced.

Both teams fought hard in the first half to be the first to put a number on the scoreboard but neither were successful. Evan Van Schie, senior goalkeeper, had multiple stops to the Bulldog’s attempts.

During halftime, the Builders took the opportunity to keep their energy high and ready for the remaining 45 minutes.

Both teams had high spirits going into the second half but a Bulldog goal within the first 15 minutes sent the Builder’s energy lower. The Builders were not able to rally back with a goal of their own making the final score 0-1 McPherson.

The Builders will play their last regular season game Nov. 3 at Kansas Wesleyan.
