Campus Players welcomes alumni with High Jinx variety show

Campus Players hosted the High Jinx Homecoming break out Variety Show on Oct. 16 in Richardson Auditorium. The performance served as a preview for the shows and events scheduled in the theater department for the 2015-2016 school year. This performance featured appearances from various shows, Musical Theater Ensemble, 9 Lives, and alumni. Mr. Dan Campbell was the master of ceremonies for the night.

Songs for a New World featuring the Music Theater Ensemble

9 Lives Laughatorium and Good Times Improv Comedy Troupe

Hollywood Lesson #11 from Completely Hollywood (abridged). Completely Hollywood was the show performed at the summer music festival.

“The Moon and Me” from The Addams Family

Act III, Scene I from Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare

Reagan the Second: a “Fools on the Hill” 10-minute play

“Serious” from Legally Blonde. Legally Blonde will be the main production during the spring semester

A reading of the opening monologue of The Effects of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-moon Marigolds

An alumni salute—“For Good” from Wicked. An alum and the former theater director for Southwestern sang the song to remember those in the Builder Family who have lost their lives.
