Southwestern golf finishes first and third in South Central Invitational

The South Central Spring Invitational was held Monday and Tuesday at the Winfield Country Club.

SC wins “E-cyclemania”

Southwestern College’s E-waste Collection Event (sponsored by Grace UMC, City of Winfield, and Green Team SC) won the Electronics “E-cyclemania” category with the E-waste event in February. More than 12,000 pounds of electronics were recycled.

Volleyball hosts 4v4 sand volleyball tournament (Slideshow)

By Bailey VenJohn Staff reporter Southwestern volleyball put on a sand volleyball 4v4 tournament Wednesday afternoon for a fundraiser. The tournament cost five dollars per person to play. There were 11 teams entered in the double elimination tournament. The team “Balls Deep” was the tournament winner earning t-shirts as the prize.
